Starwood's Guest Service Week is an event devoted to recognizing the importance of customer service and honoring the people on the front lines of service.  The International Customer Service Association started Customer Service Week in 1988.  In 1992, the U.S. Congress proclaimed Customer Service Week a nationally recognized event, celebrated annually during the first week in October. Starwood began celebrating this event in 2002 and it has grown year after year!

Our objectives for Guest Service week are:

  • To globally celebrate all of our associates who provide differentiated service and experiences to our customers, guests and partners 
  • To showcase and appreciate all our customers internally and externally, from owners to big corporations, meeting planners to leisure guests
  • To include every associate in every department in the responsibility and accountability of supporting our customers through everything we do
  • To celebrate Starwood’s success as a result of our customers
The Sheraton Princess Kaiulani will be celebrating Guest Service Week on October 25 - 30, right after the Princess Kaiulani's birthday festivities. We will be hosting 7 fun and entertaining events:
  • Pineapple Carving, October 25, 27, and 30
  • Mahalo (Thank You) cake, October 26
  • Haunted House, October 27
  • Food Tasting: Kalua Pig in Taro Bun with Fried Maui Onion, October 28
  • Mermaids Hawaii Halloween Show, October 29
